This fun new race series has been developed by the YDMRCC club members to introduce the fast and exciting hobby of RC car racing. For those that have never seen the hobby before or know the hobby but cannot justify the cost of owning and running their own car, the Maverick series is the perfect starting point.

The “Maverick” is an affordable series to enter with your own car or as an "Arrive and Drive" format. That's right "Arrive and Drive" Ydmrcc has 6 of these little beauties for you to come and have a go with at very competitive hire rates. Whether you are  new to the hobby or someone that has driven before and wants an affordable series, with close racing. This series suits all ages and abilities.

The Mavericks will be at all YDMRCC weekend events and available on Thursday club nights if requested in advanced. You only need to call “Trev” on the number found on the contacts page.

Please note: Anyone wishing to race in this series with their own car will have to run the car by the rules and regulations of the club. The car must be run straight out of the box setup, with no upgrades of any sort allowed.  This has been done to ensure close racing at a very low cost.
