Rules, Regulations and Etiquette for our club.

 

 1.Remember that RC racing is a hobby and therefore supposed to be fun and that is why we are here.

 

 2.No driver must to leave the rostrum before the heat or race end for whatever reason. Doing so will lose that driver his or

    her FDT.

 

 3.There are no race event repairs. I:e .If you crash and have damaged or broken your car or the car stops on track for

    whatever reason. Then you must wait quietly on the rostrum until the end of the race / heat.

 

 4.Absolutely no swearing on the rostrum or in race control. Excessive use of bad language will result in the driver being

    asked to leave.

 

 5.Talking on the rostrum should be at kept to a minimum as some drivers find it off putting.

 

 6.Absolutely no shouting from the rostrum at the marshals. Not everybody is light on their feet. It is not the fault of the

   marshal, you have crashed out. The marshal are told by the race director how to behave, so if you have a problem,

   discuss  it with the race director and under no circumstances confront or complain to a marshal whoever they may be.

 

 7.At the end of the heat or race. Promptly collect your care. Switch it off. Place the car in scrutineering, switch the

    transmitter off, return any transponder to the charging rack and then go straight to your marshal point.

 

 8.All drivers are to marshal the heat / race after their own heat / race. If for any reason you cannot marshal, it is your

    responsibility to get another person to marshal for you. Failure to marshal or getting someone to marshal for you will 

    result in the loss of FTD.

 

 9.If you are unable to marshal, you must inform the race director

 

10.Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated against any club member, visitor or helper. There will be no warnings given,

     you will not be allowed to continue racing that day and may well be asked to leave the premises.

 

11.Be race aware and allow faster or lapping cars to pass.

 

12.No warm up laps once the 1 minute signal before race start has announced.

 

13.All disputes are discussed with the race director.

 

14.Please volunteer to set up and tidy up after all meetings...

 

15.Please be ready on time for your race / heat.

 

16.Put all your rubbish in the bins provided.

 

17.If you leave the event early you must inform the race director.

 

18.All junior racers up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

19.Race director’s decision is final.

 

20.All cars to run at a minimum of 1350g all classes
