MK CUP ROUND 4  

Liam did well at round 4 of the MK Cup on the 5th July taking second in stock once again ahead of his dad .

SLCC 2009 Yateley

Liam attended round 3 of the slcc at Yateley running his new Mi 4 .He found the track a challange and qualified 5th in the B final in Stock.It all seemed to come together in the finals for him, finishing first in leg one and second in leg two to give him the overall win in the B

SLCC 2009 Aldershot

Liam Barrett went to round one of the 2009 SLCC racing in the stock class after a promising days racing at liam's first ever away meeting a couple of unlucky incidents in his final's he finished 6th in the B.Leg 1 saw him drop from 3rd to 4th on the last lap trying to lap a back marker, leg 2 he ended up breaking his Xray again being caught by a back marker trying to pass.

He did however finish his day by being awarded Driver of the day after being put forward by Jay Westwood following is unfortunate luck in his final's.

MK Cup Round 1

Round one of the MK Cup was on sunday 15/3 and had 2 of our juniors attending racing in stock junior

1st Matt Dabinett

2nd Liam Barrett

The other junior attending was Ross Curtis racing in super stock taking first in the B final and also Driver of the day

Young Driver Award

The new Young Driver Award was preasented for the first time at the first round of the MK Cup and went to Matt Dabinett

Autumn Championship

Well done to all the juniors that competed in the autumn championship the results of which where.

Young Driver Award Details

New for 2009 we are proud to introduce the young driver award.

This is a shield to be awarded every two months. It is only for junior racers. The shield is not awarded for race results. It will be awarded to the junior driver who in the opinion of other club members has shown themselves to be worthy club members. The award will be based on how the junior member behaves when at the club. The winner will be shown on the main club website.

 

The following will be taken into account

Attitude to fellow racers & or their respective parent / guardian who assists them at the club.

Responsible attitude in helping with general club duties. Clearing up, setting up etc.

Ensuring their transponder is replaced after their heat / race.

Being sensible on the rostrum.

Being positive even when things go wrong.

Showing general race craft and driver awareness when on track.

Marshalling effectively.
